Getting started

Nover is a note-taking web app that works offline. It's local-first, storing your data on your device by default, with optional cloud syncing available as a Pro feature.

Without cloud sync, your data will be stored in your browser's local storage. Keep in mind that this data can be deleted if you clear your browser's cache. Be sure to regularly export your notes as backups to prevent data loss.

Installation

You can install Nover as Progressive Web App (PWA) for an app-like experience with home screen integration. To install the PWA:

On desktop, look for an “Install” button in the address bar. On mobile, open the browser menu (often represented by three dots or a share button) and look for “Add to Home Screen” or “Install App.”
Follow the prompts to complete the installation.
The PWA will now appear on your home screen.
